Four numbers make up what you actually pay. Here they are.
1. The blank balloon
The headline price on the catalogue is the balloon itself, undecorated. A 13-foot blimp is $975 blank.
Plenty of customers buy blank, particularly for events where the balloon is marking a place rather than carrying a name.
2. Lettering, if you want it
A separate charge that scales with the print area, so it varies by size. On a 13-foot blimp it is $537, which makes a lettered 13-footer $1,512.
We quote it separately rather than folding it in, because a single all-in number hides which half you are paying for.
3. Add-ons
| Item | Price |
|---|---|
| Each letter over 13 per side | $6.50 |
| Each additional colour, both sides | $109.00 |
| Different message on the second side | $125.00 |
| Internal LED light kit | $309.00 |
| Helium hose | $42.00 |
4. Helium, bought locally
Not from us. A local welding-gas or industrial-gas supplier sells it for roughly $300 per 200 cubic foot cylinder, about $1.50 per cubic foot.
Use the fill volumes in the catalogue to work out your own number. A 5.5-foot sphere needs 113 cubic feet, roughly $170. A 30-foot blimp needs 1,510, which is more than seven cylinders.
After the first fill you are replacing about one percent a day.
Is lettering included in the price?
No. It is a separate line that varies by size.
Do you sell helium?
No. Buy it locally, cheaper than we could ship it.
What is the cheapest option?
A 4.5-foot sphere at $301 blank.
What is the largest?
A 30-foot blimp at $6,772 blank.
Do you make custom shapes?
Yes, cold-air inflatables to about 25 feet, quoted per project.
